Raggedy Ann Dessert Table

This amazing dessert table was done put together by One Charming Party...and isn't it just that...charming. There is such detail and love on every inch of the table, she even made ordinary PB&J look better than ever! I am still in love with this popular color combination, in fact, Michaels Craft  Store has lots of Valentine goodies out with these colors that can be used long after the holiday!

I have fond memories of my Raggedy Ann doll as a little girl. What I remember most is the amazing cake my mom made me. It was Raggedy Ann's face, and her hair was made out of long red licorice....thanks mom!

Walker's Birthday ~ Car & Truck Theme

This past Saturday was my son's 2nd Birthday party!  It was small gathering of close friends and family, and we had a wonderful time celebrating the birth of my baby boy!

Like I said in an earlier post, Walker is into anything that is a car or truck...so I was inspired by Parties By Hardie Car &  Truck printable party. She has so many cute printable parties on her site for sale and it makes it so easy (and affordable) to add all the unique touches that will make your party extra special!

Below are a few pictures of the dessert table I created for the party.  Please forgive my photography skills...enjoy!

Oh Boy!

I am giddy over this party from My Life - My Loves!  The details and the colors are amazing. If you haven't checked out her blog...do yourself a favor. You won't be sorry.  It is so inspiring to see a great little boy party, particularly since I am throwing a 2nd birthday party for my baby boy this weekend!

Can I Have S'more Please?

How fun is this? S'Mores are a favorite treat around our house. It reminds me of being a Girl Scout many, many years ago. During the winter months we roast S'Mores in the fireplace. Messy. Yummy. Fun.

This would make a great dessert to warm up any dinner party, wedding or movie night at home. You can use the traditional Hershey's chocolate bar, or try any of your favorite candy...Reeses Peanut Butter Cup S'More's anyone?

Send your guests home with these sweet DIY party favors. I saw this great idea on Twig and Thistle.  Three  clear acetate boxes with some simple bakers twine...perfection!

OOH LA LA!

I am in love with this "la petite boulangerie" from pen n' paper flowers. She made this sweet table for her daughters first birthday and did not leave out any detail! This is a great theme for a little girls birthday...no matter how old you are, or I think it would also be perfect for a valentines day party. The take home bakery boxes wrapped with tulle are the perfect party favor!

New Year...New Parties!

Happy New Year! My baby is turning two this week...so hard to believe! He is into anything that has to do with cars and trucks, so his special day had to be car themed! I purchased this personalized Car and Truck Printable Party from Parties By Hardie on Etsy. I am not a huge fan of the commercial character parties, so I was so excited to find this! It is so easy to do and everything is coordinated right down to the napkin rings! Stay tuned for pictures of his party and the fun dessert table I am putting together...
